On January 1, 2008, Niagara Falls Hydro and Pen West Utilities merged to create Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. This merger was the result of over three years of hard work by representatives of both utilities with a goal of establishing a new company that benefits our customers. Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. provides electricity distribution and related services to approximately 50,000 resident and business customers in the City of Niagara Falls, as well as the Town ofLincoln, Town of Pelham and the Township of West Lincoln.
