Our Meter Faclity
Experienced and Qualified. That's the Meter Facility at Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc.
We were the first in the Niagara Region to become fully accredited by Measurement Canada to test, calibrate and certify a wide range of meters.
The Measurement Canada Accreditation program allows qualified organizations to perform both the mandatory inspection and periodic inspection of weighing and measuring devices on behalf of Measurement Canada.
As well, we are one of only five utilities in Ontario with an ISO 9002 designation, an internationally respected quality standard.
The staff in the Meter Facility takes great pride in providing their customers with a high standard of service at a reasonable cost.

| Meter Verification | Program and seal most types of new meters On-site meter and meter installation verification Documentation provided as required by Measurement Canada. |
| Reverification | Clean, calibrate, program and seal meters to be reverified. |
| Compliance Sampling | Sample selection and seal extension testing. Also assistance in lot formation. |
| Contracting Services | Description |
| Installations | Will provide installation of any type of metering…primary or secondary. |
| Changing and Verification | Meter changes, single phase to three phase, with analyzing and verification of all commercial customers. |
| Cross Phase Analysis | Analyze all metering systems, with printout of all results provided. |
| Data Retrieval | Interrogation of different meter vendors using MV90. Daily interrogations with Validation and editing of all data. Net System Load Shape. Streetlight profiling. |
