Niagara Falls, ON – January 15, 2026. Rocco (Rocky) Vacca, Chair of Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. (“NPEI”) on behalf of the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Igor Rusic as President & Chief Executive Officer, effective March 9, 2026. Igor Rusic brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic vision to NPEI at a time of significant opportunity and transformation in the energy sector.
As President & CEO, Mr. Rusic will lead NPEI’s efforts to continue providing safe, reliable electricity distribution and related services to its nearly 59,000 residential and business customers across the City of Niagara Falls, Town of Lincoln, Town of Pelham, and Township of West Lincoln.

Under Mr. Rusic’s direction, NPEI aims to continue enhancing service reliability, fostering regulatory compliance, and strengthening relationships with municipal stakeholders and customers alike.
