On Friday October 17th, the Ontario Energy Board announced its Regulated Price Plan (RPP) Time of Use (TOU) rates, Tiered rates, and Ultra Low Overnight (ULO) rates that will change and become effective on November 1st, 2025. These rates and schedules will be in place until April 30, 2026

Also, effective November 1, 2025, the Ontario government’s Ontario Electricity Rebate (OER) will increase to 23.5% from 13.1%. The OER provides a rebate on the electricity bill of residential, small business and farm customers. The increase in the OER is intended to offset the increase in the RPP rates.
