NPEI strongly recommends enrolling in eBilling to ensure uninterrupted access to your bills and timely payment management during the Postal Strike.

Dear Valued Customers:

Canada Post has announced that the union will move from a nation-wide strike, to rotating strikes across the country. This week NPEI will resume mailing bills, however once they are sent to Canada Post it will be out of NPEI's control as to when bills are delivered. Customers should still expect significant delays in the delivery of their bills.

It is the responsibility of a Customer to keep their account up to date and ensure they are avoiding late payment charges.

Below are options to ensure you avoid possible late payment charges on your account.

Options for receiving your bill:

1. Sign up for MyAccount to be automatically enrolled in eBilling. Once registered for MyAccount, you can download the NPEI App. You can view your bill and energy consumption data, your current account balance, payment history, and detailed energy use online 24/7. You can also enable notifications to remind you when your bill due date is coming up. Sign up for MyAccount.

2. Sign up for eBilling to receive your bill electronically. You will receive an email notification with a summary of your bill and a link to view your bill on our secure website. Sign up for ebilling.

3. You may also call our Automated Account Balance Look Up option at 1-877-601-3899  to obtain your current balance and due date, or you may speak to a Customer Service Representative at 1-877-270-3938 to retrieve this information.

Options for paying your bill:

NPEI does not recommend mailing your bill payment at this time, as there will continue to be significant mail delivery delays.

1. You can sign up for pre-authorized payments – have your payment automatically withdrawn from your bank account. Sign up for pre-authorized payments.

2. You can pay your bill through most Canadian financial institutions, by Credit Card through our website or by calling 1-877-281-2063.

3. For your convenience, payments by cheque or money order can be deposited in our blue 24-hour drop box located in our office parking lot at 7447 Pin Oak Drive, Niagara Falls. NPEI WILL NOT be responsible for cash payments placed in the drop box.

Please remember, it is your responsibility to pay your NPEI bill by the due date.

Thank you,
