This webinar will introduce hospitality sector building operators to energy‑efficient upgrade opportunities that can reduce electricity use while supporting guest comfort and day‑to‑day operations. Designed for owners, general managers, and facilities staff with little to no background in energy efficiency, this remote information session explains core concepts in clear, everyday language and highlights common hospitality upgrades—such as lighting retrofits, HVAC improvements, and refrigeration‑related measures—that can help cut operating costs while maintaining service levels and comfort.

The webinar will also provide an overview of IESO’s Save on Energy programs that are often a good fit for hospitality facilities. This includes a focus on the Retrofit Program, as well as a high‑level introduction to Instant Discounts and Existing Building Commissioning. Participants will learn what each program is designed to support, which types of facilities and projects may be a good fit, and how to get started.
