NPEI Encouraging Customers to Be Aware of Potential Mail Service Interruption

NPEI strongly recommends enrolling in eBilling to ensure uninterrupted access to your bills and timely payment management.

Valued Customers:

Due to the current state of labour negotiations between Canada Post and its workers, regular mail service may be interrupted. We encourage you to prepare for a possible postal interruption that could take place as early as May 22, 2025.

Although a postal interruption could delay mail delivery of NPEI bills and/or payments, it is still a customer’s responsibility to keep your account up to date. Below are options to ensure you avoid possible late payment charges on your account.

Options for receiving your bill:

1. Sign up for MyAccount and be automatically enrolled in eBilling. You can view your bill and energy consumption data, your current account balance, payment history and detailed energy use online 24/7. You can also enable notifications to remind you when your bill due date is coming up. Sign up for MyAccount.

2. Sign up for eBilling to receive your bill electronically. You will receive an email notification with a summary of your bill and a link to view your bill on our secure website. Sign up for eBilling.

3. You may also call our Automated Account Balance Look Up option at 1-877-270-3938 to obtain your current balance and due date, or you may speak to a Customer Service Representative to retrieve this information.

Options for paying your bill:

Please do not mail your payment if a strike or lockout is expected or occurring.

1. You can sign up for pre-authorized payments – have your payment automatically withdrawn from your bank account. Sign up for pre-authorized payments.

2. You can pay your bill through most financial institutions or by Credit Card through our website.

3. For your convenience, payments by cheque or money order can be deposited in our blue 24-hour drop box located in our office parking lot at 7447 Pin Oak Drive, Niagara Falls. Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. WILL NOT be responsible for cash payments placed in the drop box.

Please remember, it is your responsibility to pay your Niagara Peninsula Energy bill by the due date.

Thank you,
